Torsten Kudjer about „BERLIN ´89“

The album is about my personal impressions during my first visit to Berlin in 1989, just a few month before the Berlin Wall fell down. Believe me, the teenager out of the small town was more than fascinated by the huge city!

Musically it‘s kind of „back to the roots“: Many electro- and synthesizer-based sounds, but of course still some guitar rock.

I am more than proud to finally hear and present you the songs that were in my head since almost 25 years.

I am also happy that my label has decided to release „Berlin ´89“ on a special day, the 9th of November: This was the day that the borders between Eastern and Western Germany have been falling. What an honour that exactly 23 years later my fourth albom will be released!
